Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EpicFanWars (https://epicfanwars.com, operated by Vinit Kothawade) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Your support: the debate and side you backed, the amount, currency, and time.
• Your name — only if you opt in. If you leave “show my name” unticked, we do not store the name at all.
• Link and description, if you add them. These are shown publicly.
• Payment reference: Razorpay's payment and order IDs and the payment status. We never receive or store card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles those under its own privacy policy.
• Approximate country, worked out from your IP address on each visit to show prices in the right currency. We do not store it.
• Theme preference (light/dark), stored only in your own browser.

What is public

Debate totals, and for each supporter who opts in: the name, side, amount, link, and description they chose to show. Anonymous support counts towards totals but is never shown with a name.

Who processes your data

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Supabase — database hosting.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your name, link, or description from the site, or ask what we hold about you. Email us from Contact Us with your Razorpay payment ID. We will respond within 30 days. We keep payment records as required by law.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
